TIP #4: RESIST THE TEMPTATION TO DISCOUNT

When we get nervous in business, we drop into a potentially nasty habit: lowering our prices. The initial logic seems to make sense: when our prices are cheaper, more customers are going to buy from us, right? Well, sometimes yes. And sometimes no. And sometimes even when we sell more - at a lower price - it gets us further away from our goal. It goes against logic, but it is true more than not. The video discusses this in more detail.

Discounting has its place in business. But think it through first, including the downsides. Make intelligent choices, and if possible, hold firm with your pricing. When you do the numbers, discounting often doesn't add up.
